Raw Blockboard

Blockboard is a wood-base panel used in plywood or laminated core constructions, which is also called as"coreboard". It is  a composite board whose core is made up of strips of wood, either laid separately or glued together. Veneer is glued to both faces of the core strips with its grain at right angles to that in the strips. It has light weight, convenient for construction, good material for wall and room top decoration and wided used in the production of essential carpentry wood products.

Blockboard material has many kinds, such as Poplar, birch, pine, paulownia, Falcata.  The Poplar, Birch blockboard is the best, It's solid, nail holding power is strong, not easy to deformation, and the paulownia blockboard is very light, soft, absorb moisture, holding nail force is poor, not easy to dry, easy cracking and deformation after the evaporation. And the pine blockboard is hard, not easy to suppress, splicing structure is not good, nail grip force is poor, deformation coefficient is large.

Compared with particleboard, MDF, it has the advantage such as easy processing, qualitative light, not be out of shape, hold a nail force to be good, it is the ideal material that makes high-grade furniture and interior to decorate.

Blockboard is stronger than real wood board stability, but be afraid of damp, should notice to avoid to use in hutch defend in Kitchen and bathroom.
